The day that you left me,
I have been abandoned ever since.
Sometimes I dream that you embrace me,
Gently whispering the words of reassurance
And restoring faith in me
I find that heavenly.
Sometimes I was curiously aroused by you
Are we gonna last forever?
And love endlessly?
But turns out these was just my fallacy
And my wishful thinking.
Ever since you left me,
Nothing seems to make sense.
I still see you everywhere I go,
Your shadows following me
The sky painting your face,
The bird chirping your name.
Everything reminds me of you.
After all this time,
I haven’t genuinely been alright
since you said goodbye.
